This novel is an exceptionally well written and a truly integrated thriller. The language is effortless and exuberant, and Leonora Christina Skov manages to capture me from the first line. I was spellbound, pages turned themselves at breakneck speed, this is pure linguistic enjoyment.
The seven changing points of view ensure that the reader always knows what they are thinking about each other. Skov has an eye for it and she certainly has a talent taking down her characters. There is vitriol in her pen, and shame on those who thinks evil of it. This is indeed entertaining.
A topmodern gothic novel, where the dilapidated castle with its nooks and hundreds of hiding places has been replaced with a completely transparent construction of steel and glass.
A great read from cover to cover. The language is as effortless and properly and the pages almost yrnes themself, and before you know it you have read it all. Which is the worst thing I have to say about this book. It ends.
